3-D Printed Electrically and Optically Paced Skeletal Muscle Based Biological Machines

Caroline Cvetkovic is a graduate student in Bioengineering. She is from Darien, IL, and also completed her undergraduate studies in Bioengineering at UIUC. Caroline is interested in the integration of biomechanics and tissue engineering, particularly applied to addressing issues of healthcare and disease on a global scale. Her varied interests outside of engineering include travel, languages, cooking, literature, sports, philanthropy, and music performance. She tries to focus on these interests and activities as much as possible in order to balance her engineering focus and maintain a well-rounded lifestyle.
