Project Title:
MSC Differentiation across the Tendon-Bone Interface using CG Scaffolds

Laura Mozdzen, originally from Chandler, AZ, graduated from the University of Iowa in 2011, where she obtained her B.S. in Chemical Engineering (with a focus in Biochemical Engineering). She was also actively involved in the Professional Engineering Fraternity (Theta Tau) and a member of the University's Varsity Swim Team. She is now pursuing her PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and her research interests are now in the area of tissue engineering, specifically how to use scaffolds to regenerate bone and tendon tissue after injury.
